Experience the Natural Living Expo

The Natural Living Expo coming to Marlborough November 16th through the 17th is “New England’s Largest Holistic Expo”. With such a title, what might one see walking into the Royal Plaza Trade Center on the day of the event?

“Expect to see anything,” says Michella Bedrosian, Expo Producer and Advertising Director of Spirit of Change magazine. “I always say to come with an open mind because you may find something that you may have written off previously.” Bedrosian goes onto to list some possibilities that guests might stumble upon including massages, psychic readings and unique gifts.

And with 225 exhibits, 90 workshops and healthy cooking demonstrations, the list goes on. Some of the exhibits include the EcoCentric Salon and Spa, Holistic Clinical Nutrition, Water Ionizers and Filters and Body Therapeutics. Workshops also offer a wide variety ranging from a Svaroopa® Yoga class focused on melting away back pain and “Herbal Formulas for Prevention and Treatment” to “Animal Communication” and “Past Life Exploration.” The healthy cooking demonstrations cover “Health Benefits of Tea,” “Sauerkraut” and how to “Make Your Own Yogurt, Then Turn it Into Cheese” as well as many others.

The Natural Living Expo is “a good chance for people to come and sample the alternative health modality if they are curious and want to try new things,” says Bedrosian.

Not only can guests feed their curiosity through workshops, demonstrations and exhibits, but also by obtaining powerful insight from the events keynote speakers. One speaker is New York Times bestselling author of the book May Cause Miracles, Gabrielle Bernstein who’s speech is titled “How to Create Subtle Shifts for Radical Change and Unlimited Happiness.” Bedrosian is especially excited to have Bernstein speaking at the event because she hasn’t been in Massachusetts recently and young women can really relate to her.

As if this event isn’t enough of a healthy and active Bostonian’s dream. Here’s a few more facts that push it over the edge:
1. There will be a FREE SAMPLE BAR (see image to the right)
2. $12 covers admission for both days (Keynote speakers range from $35-$45, but the $12 Expo admission fee is included in that price)
3. All food vendors at the event offer healthy food with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options

The Natural Living Expo is put on by Spirit of Change magazine and was started by Bedrosian seven years ago after she started getting requests from readers and advertisers to have an event where people could come together to discuss and experience holistic health products and services. There is still no other event quite like the expo in Massachusetts and it continues to grow each year.

The expo has something of interest for all age levels from teens to new parents to seniors who are interested in learning about ways to keep your body and mind healthy that may not be readily available in the mainstream.

“One of my favorite parts of the event, is the wide range of people,” says Bedrosian. “Anyone can benefit from coming to the expo and we could all benefit from slowing down a little bit.”
